Jacksonville, FL – July 2026 – Propelus® has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the AI Workforce Innovation Team of the Year category in the 11th annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements, and HR-related products, solutions, and suppliers that help create and drive great places to work.
At Propelus, technology is designed to elevate people, not replace them. This recognition reflects two years of deliberate, human-centered work: an AI Steering Committee and cross-functional AI Center of Excellence that have guided 19 formal initiatives across the company, an AI Usage and Acceptable Use policy, and company-wide AI and compliance training. Rather than using AI to replace the team, Propelus has used it to free people for the complex, meaningful work only they can do, from streamlining internal reporting and recruiting workflows to giving employees themselves a direct hand in building solutions through an internal Hackathon and an AI Gem Bounty Challenge.
That approach caught the attention of this year’s judging panel. “Propelus presents a strong example of how AI can be introduced responsibly across an organization without making employees feel replaced or threatened. I liked the balance between governance and experimentation, with an AI Steering Committee, employee training, software review, and a Center of Excellence supporting real use cases,” said one 2026 Stevie Awards Judge.
This award reflects the efforts of employees across every department who have helped shape a responsible, people-first approach to AI, one built without a single layoff attributed to its adoption.
“We’ve built our AI program the same way we strive to build everything at Propelus: with our people at the center. This award belongs to every employee who’s contributed an idea, sat through training, or found a better way to do their work with these tools. That’s the kind of innovation that lasts.”
– Emily Bracken, SVP of People Operations at Propelus.
More than 160 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s honorees. Winners in the Employer of the Year categories were determined by a unique blending of the ratings of the professional judges and more than 178,000 public votes.
